Who is Kayoko?

-The Hair Crafter and Innovator who mastered the art of hair craftsmanship.-

“My unwavering belief is to always be a trusted interpreter between hair and people.”

While technical mastery is essential for a hairstylist, there’s something I value even more: being a trusted interpreter.

A great stylist not only creates beautiful hair, but they also listen—both to the client’s needs and the “voice” of their hair. My role is to interpret those wishes, considering each client’s hair texture, bone structure, personal features and lifestyles. I believe that my work lies in bridging the gap between the client’s vision and their hair’s potential.

As an interpreter, my creativity transforms my client’s words into a clear image of the perfect style. Using my unique “Kayoko Method,” I shape each style to suit the person’s silhouette or form. Through this process, the style transforms itself to one that feels effortlessly ideal, as if it was always meant to be. Two key principles guide my craftsmanship: a humble, open mind and a genuine care for my clients. I approach every client with the belief that true craftsmanship requires exceptional technical skills, a keen eye for examining hair and, most importantly, Expressing sincerity to every person who sits in my chair.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of forming lasting relationships with my clients, some spanning more than a decade. It’s no exaggeration to say I know everything about their hair—from its quirks to the styles that best suit them. These valuable relationships are founded on trust, developed over time. When a client says, “I want a trim, I’ll leave the rest to you,” it is a testament to the bond we’ve built. It is a relationship that is truly irreplaceable.

Ultimately, my greatest wish is for every client to find happiness through their hair. Our hair is more than just a style—it’s part of who we are, a lifelong companion deserving of respect and care. My dedication to my craft and my constant drive for self-improvement stem from a desire to leave a lasting impression–to make en.Salon a sanctuary they trust to return to, time and time again.
